As a mother and owner of a growing business, I am looking for others who want to join my team in helping children thrive in spelling and reading.  We love to help frustrated parents and give our students the confidence they need to learn to read using the Barton Reading and Spelling System.

Current Hiring Opportunities:

Hiring: Barton Tutors

  March/April 2026

Tutors are contracted

  as a 1099 contractor

Compensation is per 50-minute session

 $25-$34 per 50-minute session
(based on certification/qualifications)

Team

Qualifications include:

  Tutoring or teaching experience
  Barton Certified preferred
  Able to commit to at least a year of tutoring, including summer
  • Have available hours from 3-7 pm EST
  • Majority of sessions are scheduled Monday through Thursday
  High speed internet access with dependable computer system
  Pass criminal background check

  2. A video of you tutoring a lesson to someone using the Barton Reading and Spelling System (minimum of 15 minutes).  You can submit the video in mp4 format using a service that can send a large file i.e. dropbox, youtube, vimeo or google drive.
